Concept for a Temporary Riverside Bandshell in Winooski, VT

1/08/2008

This concept model was prepared to coincide with a discussion in the Winooski City Council (1/7/08) of the possible construction of a temporary Bandshell, to be located adjacent to the Champlain Mill.
To get the discussion going, Mr. Smith presented this quick sketch of one possible form the structure could take. Other options were discussed at the meeting.
The idea was well received by the Council, and with any luck, a bandshell/stage of some form or another will be ready for the Summer season. If you are interested in helping to make this project a reality please e-mail us.
